Pathways is an initiative of the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA) and its members to transform how health and human services are provided in this country. Public human services must move in new directions — down new pathways — if we are to meet increased demand for assistance at a time of tight budgets and heightened public expectations for effective outcomes in the work we do.

The APHSA Innovation Center is a launching pad for identifying some of those new pathways and helping our members and their partners begin moving down them. The Center is a "virtual place" to introduce new, cutting edge ideas and support APHSA's members and other leaders in thoughtful, focused experimentation and discussion. The Center aims to help create a new national narrative about the role and impact of public human services.
